One-click live timer
Pick a project, type what you're doing, hit Start. The clock ticks in real time and rounds to the minute when you stop — no spreadsheets, no guessing at 6pm.
Survives reloads & crashes
The running timer is stored in your browser, so closing the tab, reloading or rebooting doesn't lose a second. Come back and it's still counting.
Manual entries that speak human
Forgot to start the timer? Type "1:30", "90m" or "1.5h" and TimeTally parses it. Backfill any day with project, description and a billable toggle.
Rates that turn time into money
Give each project a client and an hourly rate. Every report shows billable hours and the exact dollar amount — per project, per client, per period.
Reports built for invoicing
This week, last week, this month or last month: summary totals, a per-project breakdown and an hours-per-day chart show exactly where your time went.
CSV export for your invoices
Export any range as CSV — date, project, client, description, minutes and amount — ready to paste into your invoice or hand to your accountant.
How it works
Start the timer
Choose a project, describe the task and hit Start. Or log time after the fact with a quick manual entry.
Work
The timer ticks away — even through reloads. Stop when you're done and the entry is saved to today, rounded to the minute.
Invoice the report
Open the weekly or monthly report, see billable hours × your rate per project, and export the CSV straight into your invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Does the timer survive a page reload?
Yes. The running timer (start time, project and description) is persisted in your browser's localStorage, so reloading the page, closing the tab or restarting your machine won't lose it — when you come back, the clock is still ticking from the original start time.
How does rounding work?
When you stop the timer, the elapsed time is rounded to the nearest minute, with a minimum of one minute. Manual entries are stored exactly as you type them, down to the minute.
What if I forget to stop the timer or sat idle?
Every entry is editable after the fact. If the timer ran through lunch, just open the entry and change the duration — type "1:30", "90m" or "1.5h" and TimeTally understands it.
Can I export my hours for invoicing?
Pro includes one-click CSV export for any report range, with date, project, client, description, minutes, billable flag and the computed amount — ready for your invoice tool or accountant.
