Frequently asked questions
Can people vote twice?
PollPulse remembers each browser that has voted and shows returning visitors the results instead of the ballot. It's a best-effort guard — votes are anonymous and there's no account wall, so a determined person could vote again from another browser. For casual audience polls that trade-off is exactly right.
Do voters need an account?
No. Voting is completely anonymous — voters just open the link, tap their choice and instantly see the live results (unless you've chosen to hide them). Only you sign in, to create and manage polls.
Can I set a poll to close automatically?
Yes. Give any poll an optional close date and time and it stops accepting votes on schedule — or close it manually any time with one click. Closed polls keep displaying the final results, and you can reopen one whenever you like.
Can I embed a poll in my site or slides?
Polls are standalone pages built to be linked rather than embedded: paste the URL in chat, email or social, or put it on a slide. Most slide and embed tools can also load the page directly in an iframe if you want it inline.
What happens when a free poll hits 100 votes?
The poll stops accepting new votes and late voters see a friendly "this poll has reached its capacity" note — nothing is lost and your results stay visible. Upgrade to Pro and the very same link starts counting again, with no vote caps on any of your polls.
