Frequently asked questions
Do people filling out my form need an account?
No. Your form lives on a clean public page — respondents just open the link, answer and hit submit. Only you sign in, to build forms and read replies.
Where do my submissions live?
Every reply is stored securely in your Hextrot account and shown in your FormForge inbox the moment it arrives. Only you can see them, and deleting a form permanently deletes its submissions too.
Can I export my data?
Yes — every form's inbox has an Export CSV button that downloads all submissions with one column per field plus a timestamp, ready for Sheets, Excel or your CRM.
What happens when I hit the free limit?
Free forms accept 25 submissions; after that, visitors see a polite “this form is no longer accepting responses” notice and nothing is lost. Upgrade to Pro and the same link starts accepting replies again — no rebuilding, no new URL.
Can I turn a form off without deleting it?
Yes. Deactivate any form to stop accepting responses while keeping every submission you've collected. Reactivate it whenever you're ready.
