Quick-add in seconds

Date, vendor, category, amount — one bar, one Enter key. Logging an expense takes less time than losing the receipt.

Receipts attached to the expense

Snap or upload a receipt image and it lives on the expense itself. Click the paperclip any time to see exactly what you bought.

Ten categories that match your taxes

Software, Travel, Meals, Contractors and more — color-coded badges and breakdowns map cleanly onto the deductions you'll actually claim.

Month-over-month insight

Every month gets a total, an expense count, your biggest category and a ▲/▼ delta versus last month — so spending creep never sneaks up on you.

Tax-ready CSV export

One click exports date, vendor, category, amount, currency, note and receipt status — for a single month or the full year. Your accountant will say thanks.

Trends and yearly summaries

A 12-month spending chart plus per-month and per-category yearly totals tell you where the money actually went.

How it works

1

Log it in seconds

3

Export for your accountant

Come tax season, download a clean CSV for any month or the whole year and hand it over. Done.

Frequently asked questions

Does ExpenseLens sync with my bank?

No — and that's deliberate. Manual logging takes seconds, keeps personal and business spending cleanly separated, and means your bank credentials never leave your bank. You log what's deductible; nothing else ever enters the books.

How do I handle VAT / GST?

Add the tax detail to the expense's note field (e.g. "incl. 19% VAT €4.78"). Notes are included in the CSV export, so your accountant gets every tax line alongside the amount and currency.

Where are my receipts stored?

Receipt images (up to 200KB each) are stored with the expense in your private account — only you can see them. The CSV export includes a has_receipt column so you know which expenses have backup on file.

Can I log expenses in multiple currencies?

Yes. Every expense carries its own currency (USD, EUR, GBP and more), each row displays in the currency you paid in, and the CSV includes a currency column. Monthly summaries flag mixed-currency months so totals are never misleading.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free gives you 20 expenses per month with all 10 categories and monthly breakdowns. Pro ($7/mo) unlocks unlimited expenses, receipt attachments, tax-ready CSV export, 12-month trends and yearly summaries.

Tax season starts with today's coffee receipt.
